Andrew Parkinson

Andrew Parkinson has over 25 years experience of QSR, branded chain restaurants and foodservice businesses working with well known brands operating in UK, Europe, North America & Asia.

He held senior roles at PepsiCo and Yum! Restaurants and has worked with Wimpy, Burger King, Pizza Hut, KFC, Taco Bell, Long John Silver and A&W brands helping establish them in new markets, building topline sales and driving cost efficiencies in established markets. He was part of the executive management team for Yum! Europe for 5 years covering 30 markets.

 

Activities have spanned key functional areas: new market entry, marketing & consumer insights, new product development, product quality at supply & outlet level, supply chain costs, operational productivity and regulatory & public affairs.

 

Maurice Abboudi

Maurice Abboudi brings considerable operational, real estate and franchising experience from his background as an owner operator and from corporate and consultancy roles.

After completing his MBA and a successful early career in finance and marketing, he founded “Famous Moe's Pizza” and developed it to a twelve unit operation and the UK's leading independent Pizza Delivery chain (Mintel 2002) prior to selling the business to a major Burger King Franchisee.

Maurice then joined Domino's Pizza as Head of Business Development with responsibility for an extensive store roll out at a critical time. 50 store p.a. targets were achieved helping to establish Domino's Pizza as the clear leader in the UK Pizza Delivery sector.

In 2004 Maurice was approached by several leading Restaurant companies and has acted as a consultant to some of the UK's best known brands providing advice on Operational, Property, Franchising and Local Store Marketing areas. Maurice is also the Leisure Advisor to Chrysalis Venture Capital Trust and a major Private Bank in Switzerland regarding leisure sector investments. He has an in depth knowledge of emerging and early stage concepts and has most recently been advising US operators on entry to the UK Market.
